1/2 head cabbage salt and pepper drippings from around 6 slices of bacon 1 Tbsp. sugar 1/4 to 1/3 cup of water
Cut cabbage in half and then into wedges, fry in bacon drippings turning as it fries. when melted add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of water add salt, pepper and sugar. Steam with a lid until tender and water has evaporated.
