Directions:
For perfect asparagus ever time, the Washington Asparagus Growers suggest placing the amount of asparagus you want to serve into a heavy shallow pan. Cover with cold water to one half inch above asparagus. Add tsp. each salt and sugar. Bring to boil uncovered, 2 to 3 minutes. Turn off heat and let stand uncovered at least 8 minutes or until ready to serve. Reheat if necessary.
