Ingredients:  
In a 2-quart pan heat to boiling l l/2 cups of water,
add 1cup quick cook oats. Add l stick butter or margarine, l cup brown sugar, l cup white sugar. Let mixture cool before adding 1 1/2 cups flour, l tsp. soda, l tsp. cinnamon, l/2 tsp. salt, and 2 beaten eggs. Pour in greased and floured 9xl3" pan and bake 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes.

Icing for cake: Mix l cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup cream (or Milnut), 6 Tbs. margarine or butter, boil until thick. Add l cup coconut and nuts if desired and spread on warm cake.
