1 1/2 lb large mushrooms
1/4 C butter
1 onion (chopped) omit if using crabmeat
1 C soft bread crumbs
1 C spinach or crabmeat
1 tsp salt
pepper
1 T catsup
1 T lemon juice
3 strips bacon
1/2 C cream

Directions:
Directions:
Wash mushrooms and remove stems. Chop stems fine. Melt butter and cook onion and mushroom stems for 5 minutes. Stir in bread crumbs and meat or spinach and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in seasoning. Stuff mushroom caps with this mixture. Arrange on an oven proof platter, garnish with narrow strips of bacon, pour cream over and bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
