2 Large green bell peppers
3/4 # beef or any meat you prefer
1/3 c. chopped onion
1 can of diced tomatoes
1/3 c. long grain rice
1 T. Worchester sauce
1/2 T. dried basil or oregano
1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Half peppers lengthwise, removing stem, seeds, and membrane. Immerse peppers boiling water for 3 minutes. Sprinkle inside with salt. Invert on paper towels to drain. In a skillet cook meat and onion till brown. Stir in tomatoes,rice, worsh. sauce, basil ,1/2 c. water, 1/4 t. salt. 1/4 t.pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer till rice is done. About 15 to 18 minutes. Stir 1/4 c cheese. Fill peppers with mixture . Place on baking sheet atē375 about 15 minutes Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes
