4 c. peeled, sliced apples
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. butter
dash of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mound apples in buttered 9 inch pie plate. Sprinkle with orange juice. For topping, combine sugar, flour, spices & dash of salt; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly; then scatter over apples. Bake at 375º for 45 minutes or until apples are done & topping is crisp. Serve warm with ice cream.
