5-6 # standing rib roast, well marbleized, at room temperature
Salt & pepper
Garlic salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 Rub meat with salt, pepper, & garlic salt. Place meat fat side up in a roasting pan. Roast for 1 hour. Turn off heat. Do not open oven for at least 7 hours
30 minutes before serving heat oven to 375. Roast meat for 30 minutes more for medium rare or 40 minutes for medium
Serves 10-12
