1-pound Hamburger
1 large can tomato sauce
1- 6oz. Can tomato paste
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic
2 tsp. Anise seed
1 tsp. Oregano
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer sauce for 3 hours.

Boil 6 lasagna noodles until done. Assemble 1 carton ricotta cheese and 6 slices mozzarella cheese.
Put small amount hamburger sauce on bottom of 9x13 baking dish.
Layer on top:
3 noodles; ½ sauce; ½ ricotta; 3 cheeses
Repeat.

Bake 350 degrees for 45min- 1 hour. Cover top with foil if it begins to darken. Let cool 10 minutes. Cut and serve.
