1 box German chocolate cake mix
1/2 c. margarine
1 pkg (14oz) Kraft caramels
1/3 cup milk
1 pkg (12oz)chocolate chips
1 cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake according to package directions. Pour 1/2 mixture in greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes. Meanwhile - (or I do this before) have margarine, caramels & milk in double boiler - stir until smooth. Sprinkle nuts & chocolate chips over cake, then pour caramel mixture over. Spread remaining batter over - bake @ 250º for 20 minutes, then 350º for another 15 minutes.
