(If you have any leftover pizza or pasta sauce and/or a small amount of homemade salsa, you can throw it in this soup and it's a good way to not waste anything!) Try to use fresh basil and oregano from the garden. I found this recipe online and made it for the first time in September 2009. Eric and I loved it! I hope it becomes a Leach family favorite. We like to eat this soup with a grilled cheese sandwhich.
