"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for APPLE CRISP, by Sandi Kaselonis, is from Our Family Cookbook Vol 2,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
16 Apples, cored, peeled & sliced 2 tsp. cinnamon 2/3 Cup butter 1 Cup Water 2 Cups Sugar 1-1/2 Cups Flour
Grease baking dish and fill with apples. Mix water and cinnamon and pour over apples. Work together remaining ingredients until crumbled. Spread over apple mixture and bake at 350º for approximately 30 minutes.
I got this yummy recipe from the cook at my Girl Scout Camp when I was in 7th or 8th grade.
