1 baking apple
1 tsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp. raisins
1 T. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon (or to taste)
3/4 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Core apple, removing all seeds, and peel top 1/2" of apple. Stuff with butter, raisins and sugar, and pack down with your thumb. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Place apple right side up, in the middle of a microwave-safe dish filled with the water. Cover with plastic wrap, leaving a small space for air to escape.
Microwave on high for 10 minutes, or until fragrant and soft to the touch.
Place apple in a small dish and spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cooking liquid over the top.
