Water
Flour
Oatmeal
Oleo
Brown Sugar
Soda
Salt
Nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Boil 5 minutes:
2 c. chopped dates
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water

Mix together like pie crust:
1 3/4 c. flour
1 3/4 c. oatmeal
1 c. oleo
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Put a layer into pan and spread date mixture on next. Put on remaining crumbs and pat down.

Bake 300º 20 minutes
