1 frying chicken
½ c. flour
2 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper

Sauce:
1 medium onion
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. oil
1½ tsp. yellow mustard
2 tbsp. vinegar
½ c. water
¼ c. lemon juice
salt to taste
1 c. ketchup
½ c. brown sugar

Directions:

Cut chicken in serving pieces. Flour by shaking several pieces at a time in a plastic bag containing flour, salt and pepper.

Preheat ¼ inch oil in skillet and brown chicken. Brown onion in a separate pan using the 2 tbsp. oil. Put sautéed onions in a kettle and add remaining ingredients of barbecue sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes. Place browned chicken in a deep baking dish. Pour hot sauce over chicken and bake uncovered in a slow oven (325°) for 1 hour.

I usually multiple barbecue sauce recipe by 4 and fry extra chicken.
