1 cup crisco
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs separated
1 cup sour milk - or butter milk
31/2 cups sifted cake flour
1 tsp soda
1 pinch of salt
3 tsp baking powder
3 bananas mashed

Directions:

Cream crisco and sugar
Add eggs yolks, vanilla
Sift dry ingredients together
Add dry ingredients alternate with sour milk
Add mashed bananas.
Beat Egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter
Bake 325 - 45 minutes

I remember this growing up. Baba used to mix a soft chocolate frosting to top the cake. GREAT!!!!
