Brown Sugar
Shortening
Egg
Vanilla
Oranges
Sour Milk
Baking Powder
Flour
Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream:
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs

Add mixing well:
1 tsp. vanilla
Juice and rind of 1 orange
1/2 c. sour milk
2 tsp. baking powder
4 c. flour
(Grandma says 3-3 1/2 c. usually enough)

Bake 400º 8 minutes

Icing:
Orange juice, shortening, powdered sugar
