Sugar
Shortening
Egg
Milk
Flour
Baking Powder
Soda
Vanilla
Raisins
Sugar
Water
Directions:
Directions:
Cookie:
Cream;
1 c. sugar
1/2 scant c. shortening
1 egg

Add and mix well;
1/2 c. milk
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Filling:
Cook till thick;
1/2 c. raisins, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. water.

Use 1 tsp. filling in center of each cookie.
Do we roll out dough or drop?
How hot for oven or how long for baking?
