1 c. real margarine
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sour milk (add 1 T. white vinegar to regular milk and set till thick)
2 t. vanilla
3 - 4 mashed RIPE bananas
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins (optional)

Cream margarine and sugar. Beat eggs separately and add. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add sour milk and vanilla. Add bananas, nuts & raisins. Pour into greased and floured pans. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.

Makes 2 large loaves; 3 med. foil pans; or 5 small foil pans.
