1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup butter
1 cup white water
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 cups flour 2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup persimmon pulp
1/2 cup nuts
pinch salt

Combine first 3 ingredients and boil one minute, pour in baking dish.

To make batter combine and mix all remaining ingredients hen pour over syrup. Bake 350║ffor 25 to 30 minutes.
