Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 large (28 oz) cans tomatoes
1 13 oz tomato paste
2 medium onions
2 large garlic cloves
1 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp sweet basil
1 tbsp salt
1 - 1 1/2 lbs of lean ground beef
Optional 2 hot Italian sausages

Directions:
Directions:
All of the above to be blended in the blender with the exception of the meat which you brown in the pot that you cook the spaghetti in. After each can of tomatoes and other ingredients are blended put in the pot with the browned beef. Once all the blended tomatoes are in the pot, put in the Italian sausages and one can of water. Once it starts to boil turn down low and simmer for 5 hours. Put pot lid on partially opened and stir once in a while. Watch it does not burn.

Makes a big batch and can be frozen in containers. Good quality Italian canned tomatoes are recommended with the smallest amount of sodium, preferably. Don’t use the salt mentioned if the canned tomatoes has large amounts. I have used the Unico brand.

Serve with your favourite pasta.
