3 lbs ground chuck or round
3 large onions chopped (3 cups)
3 large green peppers chopped (3 cups)
6 large cloves finely chopped
3 cans (2 lbs each) Italian style plum tomatoes
3 cans (8 oz each) tomato sauce
3 cans (6 oz each) tomato paste
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1 tbs. salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/2 cups dry red wine
1/3 cup brewed coffee

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat, part at a time in oil in Dutch oven. Remove to a large bowl with slotted spoon, drain well. Saute onions, green pepper and garlic until soft in fat remaining in Dutch oven. Return meat to Dutch oven with remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered stirring frequently, two hours or until mixture is thickened.
Cool: freeze in quantities according to amounts required in other recipe's.
