1 C. butter 1/2 C. brown sugar 1/2 C. sugar 1 egg 1/2 C. chopped pecans 1 tsp. vanilla 2 C. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt
Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and combine with creamed mixture. Stir in pecans. Roll into log form and chill. Preheat oven to 350º.Slice 1/4" thick and bake 8-10 minutes. *the thinner the slice the crispier the cookie.
