Banana Bread


Ingredients:

Bread:
1 C Sugar
1 C (2 Medium Bananas)
1/2 C Margarine or Butter, softened
C Milk
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (essence)
2 C all purpose flour
C chopped nuts
1 teaspoon baking soda
teaspoon salt

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350F.
1. Grease loaf pan and flour bottom of pan lightly.
2. In large bowl, blend first 6 ingredients: beat 1 minute at medium speed with mixer.
3. Stir in remaining ingredients just until dry ingredients are moistened.
4. Pour batter into prepared pan.
5. Bake at 350F. for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
6. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan.
7. Cool completely.

Makes 1 Loaf
