2 eggs well beaten
1 c sugar
1 c light corn syrup (Karo)
1/8 lb melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Pre bake pie crust until lightly browned for approx. 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let it sit while preparing filling.
Mix eggs with sugar, butter, syrup and sugar. Pour into pie shell and add pecans to the top until the filling is covered. Bake at 400º for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350º and bake 35-40 more minutes. Do not let the crust edges burn -cover with foil if they become too brown. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream after the pie has reached room temperature.
