1cup chopped onions
4 cup hot water
1 cup corrots
1 cup cubed potatoes
2t salt
1/2t. pepper
1 bay leaf
1/4t dried basil
6 whole or canned tomatoes

Directions:
Directions:
in soup kettle, over medium heat brown beef slowly. add onions and cook 5 min. add water, carrots, potatoes, salt, pepper, bay leaf, and basil and tomatoes. bring to boil. reduce heat and simmer until tender.
