2 - 12 oz bags of fresh cranberries (keep 1/8 cup cranberries whole, not blended)
1 - Naval Orange - cut up in chunks, leave peel on, remove seeds
1 - Granny Smith Apple - dice in cubes ( peel the apple)
1 - cup cubes of citrus rind - fruit cake mix (8 oz)
3/4 - cup golden raisins
1/2 - cup currents
Cranberry juice - 1/4 - 1/2 cup as needed, orange juice is good too
1 - cup (or more) Walnuts or Pecans, whole or crumbled
Spices (to taste) 1/4 cup sugar, sprinkle of cinnamon, clove (only a little clove)

Blend cranberries and orange into coarse pieces in food chopper or blender. Add cranberry juice to facilitate.
Fold all of ingredients together along with the whole cranberries

Best if kept in refrigerator overnight before serving. Fold again, check for need of spices or additional cranberry or orange juice liquid
Note: This recipe started by Gardner is now a tradition for Holiday meals. We always doubles this recipe as it has a refrigerator life of 2 weeks and it is great with left-over turkey, both as a side or as a relish on a turkey sandwich or over vanilla ice cream - Yes!
