Line baking dish with large piece of foil. Mix cranberry sauce and onion soup mix together. Spread 1/3 of the cranberry mixture on the foil. Place the brisket on the cranberry sauce. Spread remaining cranberry mixture on top of brisket. Tightly wrap brisket in foil.
Bake in 350º oven for 3 hours. Let meat cool slightly. Slice brisket. Pour gravy over meat and refrigerate or freeze.
