4 c. extra fine sugar
1 c. water
24 drops of red food coloring
8 c. popped corn (8 tbsp. unpopped)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar and water in a sauce pan. Bring to rolling boil. Boil to 248º (F) or about 7 minutes. Remove pan from heat. Stir in food coloring. Add popcorn. Stir gently until popcorn is well-colored and syrup loses glossiness. Turn onto wax paper. Separate. Allow to cool completely.
