2 c. water
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. whole beets, canned or jarred, and beet liquid from jar or can
6-8 hard boiled eggs, peeled

Directions:
Directions:
Warm the water, cider vinegar, sugar, salt and beets on the stove.
Add the hard boiled eggs and refrigerate at least 24 hours.
If you add the eggs while they are still warm from boiling, the eggs take on a darker color.
