cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cups flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
tsp salt
tsp nutmeg
tsp ginger
tsp cloves
cup pumpkin, cooked and mashed, or canned pumpkin (whole can)
cup chocolate chips
cup pecans, chopped

Cream butter. Add sugar, blend in eggs and beat well at low speed. Add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in chips and cup pecans. Pour into 9x6 inch loaf pan. Sprinkle top with cup pecans. Bake at 350 for 65-75 minutes. Freezes well.
