1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 T chopped onion
cup all purpose flour
tsp salt
tsp Accent
1/8 tsp pepper
few grains cayenne pepper
3 cups chicken broth
10-12 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced lengthwise
2 cups milk, scalded
2 T sherry

Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter or margarine in a pan. Mix in onion and cook gently. Stir in the blend of flour, salt, accent and peppers. Add broth gradually, stirring constantly. Continuing to stir, bring to boiling and cook one minute. Stir in mushrooms. Cook over low heat 30 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally. Stir in scalded milk. Cook, uncovered, over low heat 5 to 10 minutes. Just before serving, mix in sherry. Garnish with fresh parsley.
