Chicken Potpie Recipe

1 10oz package frozen mixed vegetable
2 T butter
cup chopped onion
cup sliced celery
t thyme
1 can cream chicken
1 can cream celery
1 cup milk
3 cups chopped, cooked chicken or turkey
t pepper
1 can, 8 count, crescent roll

Cook the mixed vegetables and drain. Heat butter in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions, celery, and thyme to the butter and mix well. Cook until the onion is tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in soups and milk.
Combine the mixed vegetables, chicken and pepper in a bowl and mix well. Add the soup mixture to the chicken and stir. Spoon into a 13 x 9 baking dish. Unroll the crescent roll dough over the chicken mixture. Bake @ 375 for about 30 mins or until golden brown.
