Creamy White Chicken Chili Recipe

1 ½ lbs boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes
1 med chopped onion
1 ½ t garlic powder
1 T veg oil
2 cans great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 can chicken broth, 14 ½ oz
2 cans chopped green chillies
1 t salt
1 t cumin
1 t oregano
½ t pepper
¼ t cayenne pepper
1 cup sour cream
½ cup whipping cream

In large sauce pan, sauté chicken, onion, and garlic powder in oil until chicken is cooked through. Add beans, broth, chilies, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for about 30 mins. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and whip cream.
Serves about 7. I usually double recipe. Keeps well. Serve with shredded Monterey Jack cheese.
