3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter (oleo)
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. pwd. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Multicolored non-parells, red or green sugars. Sift flour, baking soda, cr. of tarter and salt. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in oil, egg, and vanilla. Add flour. Chill 1 hour. Shape 1 level tbsp. dough into balls.Roll tops in decorating sugars. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet. Press down slightly with glass. Bake 375 10-12 minutes until slightly brown on edges.
