Cranberry-Walnut Cake Recipe

3 C raisins
1/2 C bourbon
1/4 C softened butter
1/2 C firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 C flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
1 C chopped cranberries
1 C chopped walnuts

In a bowl, macerate together for one hour: raisins, bourbon
In a large bowl, cream together: softened butter, brown sugar
Beat in: 2 eggs
Sift together: flour, baking soda and cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture.
Stir in: chopped cranberries and chopped walnuts
Add the raisins with their liquid

Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 325 F. for 15 minutes,
or until firm. Cool on a rack.
