15 lbs Grated Cabbage
10 lbs Grated Onions
5 lbs Grated Green Tomatoes
1 lb Grated Hot Peppers
2 1/2 lbs Sugar
1 qt Vinegar
1/2 Cup Black Pepper
1 Cup Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil 15 minutes. Pour into hot canning jars and place hot canning lids on jars.

Makes 12 quarts

This a recipe from my Grandmother. She was a southern cook you know show them a vegetable and they can show you how to fry it! We used to eat this with our beans. She always made fried potatoes, cornbread and diced onion. It was always there the first night we came to visit along with a big pitcher of sweet tea. Great Memories
