1 (2 lb) bag frozen hash browns
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup sour cream
onion to taste
1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and put in a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour
