4 bananas 1 c sugar 2 c all purpose flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c butter (softened) 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c chopped nuts
Mash bananas, add sugar--mix well and let stand for 15 minutes. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Dissolve baking soda in a little water and mix with butter and bananas. Add vanilla and beat thoroughly. Add dry ingredients and eggs and mix well. Bake 350º 50-60 minutes
