1 box yellow cake mix
1/4 c butter (softened)
1 beaten egg
3 eggs
1 c light corn syrup
1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Set aside 2/3 c of the cake mix. Mix together by hand remaining cake mix and one beaten egg.

When mixture is crumbly press evenly over bottom (and 1" up the sides) of an ungreased
13 x 9 x 2 baking pan.

Bake 350 oven for 15 minutes.

For topping combine 3 eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Add the reserved cake mix and mix well. Spread this topping over baked crust and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. After cooled completely cut into squares.
