1 C real mayo
4 green onions, chopped fine
¾ C grated sharp cheddar cheese
2 cloves garlic, crushed

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together. Cut small loaf of French bread into medium-thick slices. Spread thick layer of mixture onto bread slices. Let stand 24 or overnight in fridge, covered with foil.
Bake uncovered on cookie sheet at 400° for 15-20 minutes until puffed high, not too brown.
Filling may be made ahead and stored in fridge for several days.
