1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon water
Mix the three above ingredients like pie crust and pat onto a cookie sheet in two long strips 3 inches wide.

3 eggs
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Put 1 cup water in sauce pan with 1/2 cup butter, heat to boiling point. As you take from flame, add 1 cup flour. Stir until smooth. Stir in 3 eggs, 1 at a time and beat after adding each one. Add 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. Spread over first mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes. When cool, make a frosting of 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon butter and a little milk. Add 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. Spread over the top and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
