3 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon cloves
½ teaspoon allspice
½ teaspoon nutmeg

½ cup butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs

2 ¾ cups applesauce

1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, baking soda and spices, set aside.
Beat together butter, sugar and eggs until fluffy.
Add applesauce, stir.
Add flour mixture, beat together until smooth.
Add walnuts, stir.

Bake at 350°F in a 13x9 pan for about 50-60 minutes.
