1/2 c. sugar 3 T. water 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 2 c. pecan halves
Preheat oven to 350 deg. Butter large baking sheet. combine first 4 ingred. in heavy saucepan. stir over med. heat - boil 2 min. Add pecans & stir until coated - 1 min. Spread on baking sheet in 1 layer. Bake 13 min. Transfer to waxed paper. Cool & separate.
