10 cups snacks
Use chex or other plain cereal, popcorn, M&Ms, pecans, walnuts, peanuts, etc. Use between 5-7 cups of cereal with the nuts and candy. CHOCOLATE CHIPS DO NOT WORK, they melt.

1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

Spray 2 9 x 13 pans with non-stick spray, mix snacks together in pans and set aside.

Combine butter, sugar, and syrup in sauce pan. Cook, stirring until sugar is dissolved and mixture boils, hard boil, looks like foam. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Be sure baking soda is completely dissolved, mixture will foam. Pour over snack mix, stirring to coat as evenly as possible.

Bake at 250F. for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes. Spread on foil to cool, break into pieces.
