6 c. hot mashed sweet potatoes
1 c. milk
6 tbsp. butter or margarine,softened
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
18 large marshmallows

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl beat the sweet potatoes, milk, butter, brown sugar, egg and spices until smooth. Transfer to a greased shallow 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake uncovered at 325 for 40-45 minutes or until heated through. Top with marshmallows. Bake uncovered 5-10 minutes or until marshmallows just begin to puff and brown.
