3 plus pound Roast
4 tbsp flour
3 tbsp oil
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3/4 cup water
1 clove minced garlic
1 Bay Leaf
1 sliced onion
Carrots & Potatoes
1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Rub roast with flour and brown in oil in Dutch Oven.Add water, garlic, bay leaf and onion. Cover and cook in a 350 F oven for 2 hours or until almost tender. Add carrots and potatoes and sprinkle with salt, add water if necessary. Cover and cook another hour until vegetables are tender. Remove roast to platter with vegetable and make gravy with drippings.
