3 to 5 lbs. Kennybeck or Yukon gold potatoes Half & half Butter Salt & Pepper Optional: sour cream
Peel and cube potatoes. Boil in water until soft. Drain. While draining, place butter and half & half in hot saucepan. Warm mixture until butter melted. Add to mashed potatoes and whip with electric mixer. Add additional half & half to desired consistency.
