3/4 c. sugar, divided
1/2 c. flour
dash salt
3 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
45 Nilla Wafers, divided
5 medium ripe bananas sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix 1/2 cup of the sugar, flour and salt. Blend in 3 egg yolks and milk. Cook uncovered on low heat until thickened. Stir constantly to avoid sticking. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Spread small amount of custard on bottom of dish. Layer wafers, bananas, and custard. Beat egg whites on high until soft peaks form. (If you have any cream of tarter add 1 tsp. to make egg whites more stiff.) Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Spoon over custard . Bake 15 to 20 minutes until lightly browned.
