2 T butter 1/3 C chopped onions 3 C water 3 Chicken bouillion cubes 2 C fine noodles 1/4 tsp. salt & pepper 1 pkg. chopped Broccoli 3 C milk 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/2lb. American cheese(Velveeta)
Saute onion in butter for 3 minutes . Add water and bouillion cubes.Stir until dissolved. Add noodles and seasoning stir until mixture boils. Cook uncovered for 3 minutes Stir in brocoholi and garlic powder. Cook 4 minutes more. Add cubed cheese and stiruntil cheese melts. Then add milk stirring constantly.
Jane Fish is a friend and helper. she used to work at Sterling Drugs. She made this as a special for lunch at the soda fountain. It was always sold out before lunch.I even had people calling for the recipe after the drug store closed.
