3 egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp vanilla
6 tbsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites in medium sized bowl with cream of tartar, salt, and vanilla. Beat until frothy. Add small amounts of sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form when you lift beater. Pour lemon custard filling into pie crust. Cover with meringue, making sure to seal. Bake at 350º until lightly browned.
